James Odell

James is an IT consultant and practitioner specializing in the object-oriented approach.He is one of the first practical implementors of object-oriented and agent-based techniques--consulting to major companies worldwide. He is a very experienced and highly-regarded educator and speaker. Jim is also the co-chair for the both the OMG's Object Analysis and Design (OA&D) Task Force and the Agents Work Group. His recently authored books include "Object-Oriented Analysis and Design" (co-authored with James Martin, Prentice-Hall, 1992), "Object-Oriented Methods : Pragmatic Considerations" (Prentice-Hall, 1995), and "Object-Oriented Methods: A Foundation: UML Edition" (co-authored with James Martin, Prentice-Hall, 1998) and "Advanced Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Using UML" (1998).
