David Westcott

David Westcott is an independent consultant and technical trainer with over twenty years of experience in Information Technology, specializing in computer networking and security.In addition to providing consulting advice and direction to his corporate clients, Mr. Westcott has been a certified trainer for over 10 years, providing training for government employees, corporations, and universities. Mr. Westcott has developed courseware for many of his clients in the areas of networking andsecurity.Since installing his first wireless network in 1999, Mr. Westcott has become a Certified Wireless Network Trainer, Administrator, and Security Professional. He has consulted with Planet3 Wireless, providing technical editing for the Planet3 Wireless courseware used in the wireless certification programs.He has also earned certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, and Novell, and is presently pursuing a Masters Degree in Information Security. In his spare time, Mr. Westcott is a licensed pilot, currently training for his instrument rating.
