Carma McClure

Dr. Carma McClure is a highly respected software methodologist, author and consultant. She has lectured on software automation technologies, software re-engineering and maintenance, and software reuse throughout the world. Dr. McClure was cited in Byte Magazine as one of the world's 63 most influential people in personal computing. She has written nine published books and numerous articles and has presented keynote addresses at many software conferences. She has written two books on the subject of reuse, published by Prentice-Hall: “The Three R's of Software Automation: Re-engineering, Repositories and Reusability” “Reuse Engineering: ADDING Reuse to the Software Development Process” She has consulted for many major corporations, governments and software tool vendors worldwide. Dr. McClure is considered one of the best educators on software technologies. Her widely attended lectures are presented around the world. Dr. McClure received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology. She served as an ACM National Lecturer. She was a Professor at Illinois Institute of Technology and the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University. Previously, she was Director of Software Product Development at Planmetrics, Inc. in Chicago, Illinois.
